An Exercise To Get You "Ripped"!

First of all, if you expect to achieve a ripped physique then you have to know specifically what gets you that result within the scope of your training. You see the best way to achieve this is by engaging in lifts and exercises that significantly raise your level of perceived exertion and involve multi-joint related exercises. This means that when you train you have to participate in resistance exercises that involve more than one joint which in turn will involve more than one muscle group. This is how you build lean muscle mass quickly and speed up your metabolic rate in order for you to have those "ripped" six pack set of abs.



One exercise that is great for this is the kettlebell squat thrust. For this particular exercise you will need the availability of a pair of kettlebells of moderate intensity and a good flat training surface. This "ripped" exercise is great because it involves the movement of your entire body. To execute this lift simply place the bells beside your feet with your stance at about shoulder width distance apart in length. From here simply perform a suitcase dead lift by properly squatting to pick the bells up off of the ground. As you descend to pick the bells up stand up and lock out keeping them by your side. From here lower yourself back down to place the bells back on the ground beside your feet. Next, perform a squat thrust by keeping your grip on the bells and kicking your feet back behind you to extend your body into an upright push up position. Once you are extended simply kick your feet back up between the bells to start the process all over again.

After only executing just a few of these you will quickly understand why this particular exercise is such an effective drill to get you ripped in a relatively short period of time.
