Except, of course, for snacking. No matter what you try, nothing seems to satisfy your sweet tooth. I have had tremendous success following a strict diet like I've outline above. I have a terrible sweet tooth, and before I discovered my secret weapon, I struggle with weight loss. No more. So what is this miracle snack? Apples and peanut butter. I've enjoyed this tasty, healthy snack, and a lean body, for several years now.

It may sound like a strange combination to you, but give it a try, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. And this combination of foods is successful for several different reasons. I'll start with the apples. They kill your hunger. And not just for the moment. It will stop your cravings up until meal time. And apples are very low calorie, so you can have two at a time if your appetite is that big. And the phrase "an apple a day keeps the doctor away," is true. Apples are extremely healthy, a big plus when designing the best diet for fat loss.

But an apple all by itself is boring. So that's where the peanut butter comes in. It adds much more to the flavor and enjoyment. But the benefits of peanut butter go way beyond just the taste. Peanut butter is loaded with protein. Protein is essential in muscle building. If you can build muscle, even a small amount of muscle, your body will burn calories at a faster rate, even when you sleep. And protein, like apples, is very filling. You add a little peanut butter to an apple and it will destroy any risk of you reaching for that cookie or candy bar.

But for this to work for you, care should be taken in selecting the type of apples and peanut butter. Red delicious apples are probably the most widely used, and for good reason. They are cheap and plentiful. But two other brands will work better and they don't cost that much more. And they're worth the money for two reasons, superior taste and texture.

The type of peanut butter is equally as crucial. Most peanut butters are loaded down with sugar and salt. When you think of the best diet for fat loss, I'm pretty sure you'll want to avoid those two ingredients. While shopping for peanut butter in the past, you've probably noticed those jars that have a quarter inch of oil floating at the top. That's natural peanut butter. The oil at the top is peanut oil, totally different than unhealthy vegetable oil. I tell you that because you may be tempted to pour some of the oil off. Don't do it. The oil is necessary to keep the peanut butter moist, and it also adds to the flavor. If you were to pour it out, you might as well throw the peanut butter away. It will turn hard as a rock.

When you bring your jar of natural peanut butter home from the grocery store, immediately turn it upside down. In a matter of hours, the oil will have risen once again to the top, which is now the bottom. Open it up and stir the oil in. Slice the apple into four sections, discarding, of course, the center portion. Apply a layer of approximately 1/8th inch to each slice of apple and enjoy.

Not only will this stop the cravings for an unhealthy snack, you won't need to snack again until meal time, and you should see an increase in energy versus the low you feel minutes after eating something sugary. So when planning out the best diet for fat loss, try my favorite healthy snack and watch the fat melt.
