As a matter of fact, the cabbage soup diet has been around for nearly 3 decades and its weight loss effects is based on the fact that it is high in fiber and very low in calories, and it takes more calories from the body before it could be properly digested, much more than the calories it gives the body.
You can get numerous recipes for the cabbage soup, but most importantly the soup usually contains carrots, peppers, onions, mushrooms, cabbage, celery and spices to add taste. In order for you to attain the goal set for yourself within this 7 days, you'll have to eat the cabbage soup as much as you can for the period.

On the fifth day, go ahead and eat up to 20 ounces of beef, chicken- with the skin removed, or roasted fish., whichever of these that is your preference would be alright. Then drink as much glasses of water as you can! Also take up to 5 fresh tomatoes.
On day six, you must have been noticing some changes in your body if you have stick to the outline here, so on this day, go ahead and take the cabbage soup, with lots of leafy vegetables and beef.
Finally, on the seventh day, you can take a little of the cabbage soup with vegetables, brown rice and unsweetened fruit juices.

you follow this cabbage soup diet along with the other supplementary
foods as enumerated above, you should be able to shed up to 10 pounds
