Burn Fat and Get Ripped

Most people wish to lose weight so that they can look better. Many people wish that they could get washboard abs and ripped muscles, but very few achieve this because they fail to do what is required to get to that low of a body fat percentage. If you want to get ripped, lifting weights is only part of the equation. The other part is shedding body fat, and I want to show you a way that you can do just that in a small amount of time.
burn fat

I recently started a weight loss and muscle building program that involves intermittent fasting, which if you don't know, is a strategy that involves not eating for extended periods of time. At first, I was skeptical because I had always heard bad things about skipping meals. It is a common belief in the health world that not eating often will slow down your metabolism and send your body into starvation mode, causing you to store more fat. This I found is simply not true. The opposite is actually closer to the truth. Eating continuously throughout the day will cause your body to go into 'fat storing mode' because it thinks you are preparing for a famine or drought of some sort. Not eating for extended periods of time will cause your body to go into 'fat burning mode' and will also allow for rapid detoxification of the body, which has many benefits.

Intermittent fasting can be done in many different ways. The method I have found most effective is daily fasts of 16 to 20 hours. This means I eat within a 4 to 8 hour window. This often involves me skipping breakfast and lunch. Since doing this, I have seen a dramatic increase in my energy levels, especially in the mornings, as well as a lowering of my blood pressure and a dramatic decrease in my body fat percentage. While doing intermittent fasting for 4 months, I lost 15 pounds and gained a large amount of muscle at the same time. I finally got that ripped look I had always wished for.

If you are interested in losing weight, burning fat, building muscle or all of the above, intermittent fasting is probably one of the best things you could do for yourself. I have given you a small amount of information on intermittent fasting, and I suggest that you do more research so that you can get all the information and decide if it is right for you. Best of luck on your journey!
