Everyone Seems To Be Talking About The HCG Diet Plan

By Riley T. Simonis

A low-calorie intake paired with these supplement drops is known as the HCG diet. The body begins to burn stored fat when it uses up the day's calorie intake; a process that occurs faster with a low-calorie diet. While a low calorie diet alone might produce similar results, the supplement used in the diet helps to ensure that muscle mass is maintained and just fat is lost. Negative side effects, such as fatigue or irritability, which commonly accompany low-calorie diets can be avoided with the use of HCG drops. The HCG diet overall performs as a method of resetting the way the body handles excess fat and burns calories. There are three stages in the special diet starting with the introduction phase, the training phase, and the continued maintenance phase.

In the beginning of the special diet, the first two days consist of an increased calorie intake along with initiation of HCG drops. The first stage of the diet helps to re-set the body's natural way of handling calorie intake and burning fat, which will be utilized in the low-calorie portion of the diet. Hunger during the low-calorie stage of the diet is lessened because of the initial high calorie intake during the initial phase. The special diet's second step, consisting of low-calorie intake, forces the body to burn excess fat when the daily calories are used up as a fuel source.

The final portion of the diet, known as the maintenance stage, begins when the drops have successfully altered the body's metabolism. The use of the formula is no longer necessary and calorie intake can begin returning to a normal level during the maintenance phase of the special diet.

The body's new, rearranged fat-burning process should not be disrupted by higher calorie intake, and the increase needs to be done slowly. Weight must be monitored closely during this period to ensure that the results of the diet are maintained and the reintroduction of normal calorie intake is not inhibiting the metabolism's changed procedure.

Since the diet plan includes low calorie intake, it is suggested that the physical activity portion of the diet consist only of light exercise. Because there are fewer calories used for energy, strenuous exercise could cause starvation and fatigue as the calories are used quicker. There are no known side effects of the program and the hormones in the drops will not create any interference with menstrual cycles. Higher calorie intakes required for nourishment during pregnancy cause the the plan to produce little to no results if used by pregnant women.
