Sometimes on the surface it can appear that eating healthier will take tremendous effort. Today I want to show you a few easy dieting recipes you can make in a flash. The best part is that these meals don't take much time to prepare.



I think the best place to start would be breakfast. The word breakfast literally means to break your fast. Your body is starving for nutrients so this is a very important time. I will show you a few quick meals that you can make whenever you get up.

Oatmeal and Protein Powder
You take 1 cup of oatmeal and either nuke it or add hot water. You then add one scoop of chocolate or vanilla whey protein powder and begin stirring it in.

It blends quite nicely and is very tasty! You can even add a little skim milk or something like raisins for even more flavor. It is a great way to get your healthy carbs and protein in at the same time.

Healthy Egg White Omelets
If you want even more protein you can make a simple egg white omelet using pepper, onions and low fat cheese. You can even choose to use a yolk if you wish. There is a lot of nutrition in the yolk also. If eaten in moderation you should not have to worry about cholesterol. And please remember to use a low fat cooking spray.

Now let us move to lunch. You still want to get a nice mixture of protein and carbohydrates. And if you ate a healthy breakfast you won't be ready to binge by this point and run to the vending machines.

Tuna Salad with a Healthy Dressing
Tuna salad is relatively quick and easy to make. Just buy a cucumber, lettuce, and a tomato to start with. You can add other things like onions that you find tasty. Make sure your tuna is packed in water and not in oil. You will be saving a ton of calories here.

You can even make your own healthy dressing consisting of olive oil and a touch of vinegar. Use one part vinegar to three parts olive oil. You can also add a dash of garlic powder of even some Dijon mustard for extra taste. Olive oil is a healthy fat and will help you to absorb all of those vitamins in your salad!

Now we get to dinner time. This is what most people look forward to the most. You therefore want something that is not only healthy but very tasty as well!

Grilled Chicken and Brown Rice
A great tip is to cook in bulk so that you won't have to keep preparing food on a daily basis. You simply store the rest in the refrigerator.

A great tool to grill chicken breasts is the George Foreman Grill. Grilling is much healthier and will not take up too much time. You can add things like Mrs. Dash to help make it tastier.

You can also prepare some brown rice to go along with it. Brown rice is much healthier than white rice because it has more fiber and is less processed. You can also get brown instant rice that only takes 10 minutes to make.

You can also use baked potatoes instead of rice. Keep the skin on and add salsa or butter sprinkles for extra flavor.
