The vegetable soup diet is all about eating this soup over and over again, while consuming some other food of nutritional value as well. Opinions vary about how healthy it is and some either claim it's unhealthy and leads to health hazards. Since this miracle vegetable soup is fat-burning, it's likely that adopting it as your new favorite food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner would be tempting. The trick is, to take it in as often as you like, but with other healthy food as well. Don't limit yourself to just the soup. You're not only asking for your body to breakdown, you'll end up getting sick of it and going back to your old diet which nobody wants to do.

So as you make this soup, add it to your already healthy diet, if you've started on one. Get all the nutrients you need from all the food groups at the portions recommended for your diet and if you're still hungry, let the soup fill you up. Prepared in a number of different ways, this soup can surprisingly make you full.

But the magic of this vegetable soup is not that it's a good complement to your current diet plan. It's that it makes you lose weight fast. If you really need to lose a lot of weight (about 10 lbs.) in a week, then the vegetable soup diet will help you do that.

The recipe is pretty simple. Just a bunch of vegetables sliced and cut up then mixed together.

These vegetables are:
green onions (6),
green peppers (2),
tomatoes (1 or 2, diced/whole),
carrots (3),
mushrooms (10 oz.),
celery (1 bunch),
cabbage (half a head),
Lipton soup mix (1 pack),
seasonings (i.e. salt, pepper, parsley, curry, garlic powder),

and with optional ingredients:
bouillon (1 or 2 cubes) and V8 juice (48 oz.)

Start out with sautéing the sliced green onions, then in order with slicing/cutting done right before adding: add bite-sized green peppers (without seeds and membrane), bite-sized outer leafs of the cabbage, bite-sized carrots, and thickly-sliced mushrooms. For spice, add spices at that moment. Then optional bouillon cubes if you want to, but minus the other seasonings mentioned if you do. You'll need to add around 12 cups of water (with V8 juice, only 8 cups), cook at low heat covered. Two hours of cooking is enough. And add salt and pepper for your taste.

7-day plan: Vegetable soup to your body's content.

1st day: Eat only fruits (except bananas) and soup.

2nd day: Eat vegetables (leafy) and soup with optional plain baked potato.

3rd day: Eat fruits and vegetables, and soup.

4th day: Eat up to 8 bananas, as much skim milk and soup as you want.

5th day: Eat meat and tomatoes with a lot of water to wash them down, and soup.

6th day: Eat meat and vegetables, less meat but any amount of vegetables, and soup.

7th day: Eat vegetables and brown rice, and soup.
