Tips For Getting a Ripped Body - Lift Weights the Right Way

There are many reasons for wanting to lift weights. It could be that you want to lose some pounds but don't want to spend all your time doing cardio work. Or you could be skinny and want to add some muscle mass. Or it could be for the looks you will get as impressed onlookers check out your physique. Whatever the reason lifting weights can be a great activity as long as you follow some simple steps.

You need to be committed to the process as it will take some time to see some massive improvements. Do not let that put you off though as if you train right you will be growing muscle after each session as we will discuss in a moment. Just be aware that you will need that commitment to work at it enough to really build an impressive body.

As I mentioned previously you will build muscle each time you train. This is because when you lift a heavy weight your muscle fibers are stimulated and they then repair themselves overnight to enable you to lift a heavier weight. This is important as you will need to constantly be looking to improve. Many people lift the same weight over and over and are surprised when they see no change. You need to lift heavier weights or do more reps each time you train.

You should also not be enticed into doing isolated exercises that appeal to you. Most commonly this is biceps and triceps work as people want impressive arms. But doing this will not work on your core where the most impact will be had. If you work on compound exercises like bench presses and squats you have a thorough workout. Also do not only work on the upper body and leave the legs as you will again not have a strong core frame this way.

Finally be sure to change up your routine every 6 to 8 weeks. This will stop you from getting bored and will stop your body from getting to used to the workouts. To do this you can add some different exercises into the mix or change the number of reps. These small changes can have a big impact and will put you in a great place to develop your muscle.
