1,000 Calorie a Day Diet - Restricting Calories at 1,000 a Day is the Best Plan For Weight Loss

There are various means to lose weight in a healthy manner. These mainly comprise of proper diets & exercises. Now a common concept of losing weight is taking a planned low calorie diet. On an average an adult take 1200 to 1500 calories per day. Reducing these to less than 1000 calorie might not be a very good option.

· While shopping your grocery read the labels properly. You must know that how much calorie does your food have.

· Avoid these: oily food, junk food, white flour, potatoes, rice, processed foods, unsaturated fat, excess of carbohydrates, etc.

· Healthy weight loss does not mean that you have to starve your self. The food that you take must be rich in the nutrients. You should have anti oxidant rich juices & fruits in the morning. Focus as much as you can on fiber rich diet. Avoid carbohydrates but a minimal quantity is okay. Among fat, avoid unsaturated fat, but take the healthy fat. Avoid taking proteins after mid day.

· Take 5 to 6 meals in place of 2 major ones. It keeps your metabolic rate high. Have the meals on time and do not miss them. Do not have food just before you sleep. In fact after a fixed time in the night, do not eat anything.

· Exercise daily for at least 30 minutes. It is not necessary to do intense workouts. Moderate exercises like brisk walking & jogging. Aerobics, yoga & meditation also help a lot. It would enhance the weight loss process along with your 1000 calorie diet.

· Chart whatever you eat and see that you do not go above the stipulated diet. In any case if it does happen due to some social call, the next day delete that amount from the diet. For instance, today you had 1200 calories, than tomorrow take 800 in place of 1000 calories.
